Pen & Ink - Tropical Birds

Wednesday, 9 am - 12 pm, May 21 - June 25, 2025 (6 weeks)

Create a series of small pen & ink drawings featuring brightly coloured tropical birds from around the world. Explore line, textures and values using different ink techniques. Have fun adding colour to the drawings using watercolour or coloured pencils. Instruction will include demonstrations as well as individual guidance. Photo reference will be provided by the instructor. All levels welcome.

Drawing Australia

Thursday, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm, May 22 – June 26, 2025 (6 weeks)

This 6-week drawing class is a chance to sharpen up those graphite pencils and draw flora and fauna from the land down under. A variety of subjects will be explored, including birds, animals, flowers and trees. Some drawing experience would be helpful but not mandatory. The class will be taught with demonstrations and one-on-one guidance. Photo reference will be provided by the instructor.

Coloured Pencil on Black

Tuesday, 9:30 am - 12 pm, May 20 - June 24, 2025 (6 weeks)

Draw a variety of subjects, including animals, nature and nightscapes, all on black paper. An introductory class or previous coloured pencil experience is recommended but not mandatory. Gain experience with choosing colours and problem solving as you focus on basic shapes, values and textures. The class will include demonstrations and individual guidance. Photo reference will be provided by the instructor.
